our story

Energy experts partnering locally, for turn-key energy solutions

Where it began

The JuniPower story emerged from a shared conviction among friends and energy professionals: to tackle the moonshot challenge of powering America's AI future. We envisioned a reliable, low-carbon energy solution, starting with natural gas and carbon capture, and evolving to advanced nuclear, to meet the nation's exponentially growing power demands.

Our foundation is deeply rooted in Wyoming, driven by President Brian Hill's passion for his Cheyenne community and our collective respect for the land and its ranchers. As partners, we're committed to sustainable innovation, including pioneering the use of wastewater for data center cooling, ensuring our projects benefit both the environment and local stakeholders.

Where we’re at today...

Today, as data center development accelerates nationwide, JuniPower has strategically positioned itself by partnering with large landowners to deliver exclusive behind-the-meter power solutions. We've also established collaborations with local industries for wastewater recycling and built strong relationships with power generation companies, ensuring a comprehensive approach to energy supply.

Our commitment to sustainable, low-carbon solutions is further underscored by our partnership with Meriden Carbon and the Steamboat Carbon Storage Hub. With these foundational elements in place, JuniPower is now ready and actively seeking a data center partner to help fuel America's AI dominance.

Where we’re going...

The AI era is accelerating global change at an unprecedented pace, bringing with it immense power demands that require both massive baseload additions and a simultaneous drive to eliminate emissions. This is our moonshot at JuniPower: to develop 10 GW of new power generation over the next decade.

We will achieve this by building on our strategic sites, in close collaboration with salt-of-the-earth landowners. This effort will create a foundational solution for the nation's future power needs, setting the stage for a new energy economy in the United States.
